We are SUBURBIA ROLLER DERBY, Westchester County, New York's first all female, flat-track roller derby league.
The league was founded in June 2007 by Slim Fast and Suffah Kate, two former Connecticut RollerGirls, and has since attracted approximately 40 women from around the Tri-State area, including experienced former members of other local leagues. In February of 2009, Suburbia Roller Derby became a member of the WFTDA.
Suburbia Roller Derby plays a sport that is aggressive, fast paced, fun, exciting, and 100% REAL. SRD attracts girls aged 21 - 45+, from all walks of life, including business owners, educators, artists, health care professionals and stay-at-home moms. It is fully skater-owned and operated.
OUR MISSION:

- To cultivate respect, empowerment and athleticism in all of our members.
- To be a DIY (do-it-yourself) organization - by the skaters, for the skaters - dedicated to playing and promoting our sport and supporting our sister derby leagues all over the world.
- To be supportive members of the community, giving back to local organizations whenever possible through service and volunteerism.
